Sentry Protection Products

Rack Sentry® works because of a combination of its unique shape and by the unique composite materials used to mold it.  These materials, in ambient temperatures, effectively absorb impact and return to shape again and again without damage.  Below freezing, however, those materials can begin to lose flexibility, meaning the product would absorb impact but would not return to shape.  Until now, the use of Rack Sentry has been limited to applications in normal operating temperatures.

After considerable research and testing, Sentry is now introducing the new Rack Sentry LT, the “low temperature” version of this rack protection device.  The new Rack Sentry LT product uses a new  formulation of polymer material that remains pliable in very cold climates.  It is designed to work in temperatures down to -30 degrees F without losing its energy absorbing properties and without damage.  Rack Sentry LT is available in any of the existing product’s sizes, including 3” (75mm), 3.25” (80mm), 3.5” (90mm), 4” (100mm), and 4.75" (120mm) widths.  In addition, the Rack Sentry LT option is available in the unique END and Cutout varieties, allowing these rack protectors to be used at the end of racks and on uprights with low horizontal beams.
